Smokey John's Bar-B-Que and Home Cooking is a second generation family restaurant business specializing in barbecue and home cooking. We operate a full scale catering division as well as seasonal concessions at the State Fair of Texas. We also produce and distribute our signature BBQ Rub at select H-E-Bs as well as our BBQ Rub, BBQ Sauce and homemade Banana pudding at select Joe V's Smart Shop by H-E-B locations.

Excellent barbecue, of course. Among the very best I've had. We tried the brisket, ribs and hot links. Sides included coleslaw, mashed taters and coleslaw. All were spot-on tasty and fresh.

This establishment didn't disappoint. Found this gem online. My son and I had the catfish, mac n cheese, yams, brisket, cabbage, ribs, sausage, cornbread, potato salad and sweet tea/lemonade mix. Chef's . Friendly staff and awesome owner hospitality. Thanks for the seasoning Brent. Worth the trip from NY. We would recommend Somkey Johns if your looking for authentic Texas BBQ. Until next time

I had a craving for some barbecue, so I placed a takeout order for chicken, turkey, greens, mac and cheese, and cornbread. I also got some peach cobbler and sweet tea. Everything hit the spot. The flavors were exactly what I was hoping for, and it made me feel like I was back home in Los Angeles with my family. I'll def be back,
